By the results of scientific researches of the chair for last three years there have been defended 2 Doctoral, 4 Candidates, and 28 Candidates for a master’s degree dissertations, 7 patents and prepatents of РК have been received.

The main directions of scientific research of the department are related to the topics:

1.Development of a methodology for obtaining approximate analytical solutions of systems of kinetic equations for the aggregation and clustering of dispersed systems.

Teaching staff of the chair has developed 16 textbooks and manuals, 15 electronic books, 4 virtual laboratory works and 8 cases.

According to the international student exchange program, 5 third-year students were sent for the specialty 6B06130 - CEaS M. Sabden, A. Mambetova to study at Putra University (Malaysia), Kuibakov G. - University of Bucharest (Romania), Khojibergenova U. - University of Information Technology and Management (Poland), Timabay J. –– for study at the University of Primorska (Slovenia).

Teaching staff of the chair participated in competitions held by the Committee of Science of MES RK for grant financing of scientific-research works for the following themes:

1. “Research and development of high-efficiency catalytic reactors for three-phase heterogeneous systems”, supervisor is Yeskendirov Sh.Z., D.t.s., Professor;
2. “Development of algorithms and programs for modeling and management by industrial processes of polymers production”, supervisor is Ospanova A.O., D.t.s., Professor;
3. “Development of information management system by industrial polymerization processes”, supervisor is Ospanova A.O., D.t.s., Professor;
4. “Modeling and calculation methods for reaction-diffusion processes in the systems with moving boundaries”, supervisor is Mussabekova L.M., D.t.s., Associate Professor.

In a result of the competition, Ospanova A.O., D.t.s., Professor won grant for financing of her scientific-research work “Development of information management system by industrial polymerization processes” amounting to 30 million KZT.
