Lectures by the leading foreign scientist, Professor Daniel Pavkovic to the students of the doctoral programme EP 8D07150 «Electric Power Engineering» of the Department «Energetrics and Renewable energy systems».

The students of DIT-24-5tk group listened to the lecture and participated in the seminar on the topic: ‘Comparative Assessment of battery cell charging systems: conventional approach vs.open-circuit voltage feedback’. The students got acquainted with control system design: optimal damping, parameters of conventional battery cooling - recapitulation, tasks of the control systems under study, voltage limits and regulator tuning, battery parameters estimation, SPAM estimation output (Lyapunov theory), modelling parameters in Matlab/simulink, output of modelling results: CCC-VL (conventional, adaptive).For the bachelor students of the group IP-22-4k was provided up-to-date information on the selection of parameters of the charger and battery, models in 3D-format were presented.
   The topics of the lectures aroused wide interest of doctoral and bachelor students. These topics are relevant for solving problems in the scientific and industrial environment of the electric power industry.
